The annual Grand Prix Festival, held on Friday in downtown Watkins Glen, commemorates the early sports car races that took place on a 6.6-mile course laid out on village streets. The high point of the Festival is the Grand Prix reenactment, with SVRA race cars driving the original Watkins Glen street course to the cheers of 20,000 enthusiastic spectators.

Memorable track action and a unique downtown festival combine for a great weekend in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York. It doesn’t get any better!
